What is the Eureka Council

The Eureka Council is an organisation serving the cultural needs of Colonial and Anzac, or Native Australians. It is an organisation committed to encouraging citizen participation in the public debate, as well as in community and social action.

The Constitution

The Eureka Council is loyal to our gracious Queen Elizabeth; the Queen of Australia, as required of all loyal Australians by our Constitution.

We believe that all Australian citizens have a duty of "Allegiance" (Loyalty compelling dutiful action and sacrifice unto death.) to the Constitution of the Commonwealth.

 Defence and National Security

The Eureka Council is totally committed to the Defence of the Australian Homeland.

We are an organisation that believes that all Australian citizens have a Duty of Loyalty to our flag and to our Diggers, sailors, airmen and Federal and State Police Officers on active service overseas.

Our Australian Heritage

The Eureka Council is a place where Australia's pre-Federation history is also remembered.  It is a place where those who participated in the building of our Nation are honoured.  Here it is Ok to be proud of your family's Convict, Pioneer or Anzac Heritage.

Our Cosmopolitan Society

The Eureka Council is a place where we recognise the rejoice in the richness of our cosmopolitan, but predominantly British heritage. As part of our identity we remember that no less than twenty seven nationalities contributed Convicts to the building of Australia and that seventeen nationalities united to give birth the the Native Australian People as we called ourselves in Colonial times, or the Anzac Australian Nation as we refer to ourselves today.   Look at our Convict Flags of Origin and our Eureka Contributing Flags to see if your flag is there.

The Eureka Council is a place where Multicultural Australians can come to learn how to go about honouring their promise of loyalty "to Australia and its people".

Here, in a safe and welcoming environment, you can get to know some these mysterious Australians, and by direct contact, receive help and understanding into our heritage, our values, social customs and attitudes as you assimilate into our Culture and lifestyle.
